Adam Graham
Adam Graham is Managing Partner and co-founder of Saint@RKCR/Y&R – Revolution and NMA's creative agency of the year, 2011. Prior to this, Adam founded one of the first internet radio stations back in 1998; was the first person to stream live music from Glastonbury in 2002; and, for five years, ran a small digital agency specialising in the music industry and youth marketing. Aileen Walker
As Director of Public Information at Parliament, Aileen has overseen exciting developments over recent years in the public engagement activities of both Houses of Parliament. This has included online award winning resources, games and activities available through the online channel of Parliament's Education Service (www.parliament.uk/education), and the introduction of the Parliamentary Outreach service. Aileen has keen interest in education (she is chair of governors at a primary school) and in digital engagement.

Alex Cowell
Alex is founder and Managing Director of Cubeworks, a Brighton-based digital agency specialising in user experience design and systems integration for large-scale websites and applications. Since its formation in 2002, Cubeworks has successfully delivered major projects for clients such as EMAP, Diageo, Aon and Reed Business Information. Alex is passionate about the web, and the importance of getting all areas of an organisation connected. He is a regular guest speaker on the subject at seminars and events such as Internet World, demonstrating how best to manage and deliver major web integration projects successfully.

Alastair Duncan
Alastair is one of the UK's most experienced digital business leaders. Having developed the first commercial interactive TV network with the BBC in the 1990s, he joined the board of advertising agency Ammirati Puris Lintas to head up new media. Outputs included the first URL on a packaged good in the UK for Peperami, the multi-award winning www.mini.co.uk, and NatWest's online banking service. He started up Zentropy Partners in 2000, twice Agency of the Year before he merged it with McCann Erickson in 2005 to form MRM Worldwide, ranked the UK's 5th biggest marketing-focused agency in 2008 by New Media Age. He has advised Intel, MasterCard, Microsoft, Unilever and Nestle at global board level on how to manage digital change. He is currently developing a new wiki-creativity ideas network. Alastair is a Fellow of the RSA, Member of British Design and Art Direction and one of the original members of the Digital Marketing Group at the IPA. He was elected to the BIMA executive in 2009. Andrew McCormick
Andrew McCormick is Editor of Revolution magazine, which covers the latest in cutting-edge digital marketing. He is also Deputy Editor of Marketing magazine and has spent seven years covering the impact of digital on business and marketing. As well as covering the latest developments in marketing strategy, McCormick regularly hosts events in the industry and has substantial experience in developing online content.

Andy Conroy
Andy is the General Manager of BBC Online. He is responsible for the BBC’s services online, on mobile and on connected TVs. He began his BBC career as a boy, providing weekend studio assistance for his local radio station in Lancashire. After leaving Emmanuel College, Cambridge, he spent a further eleven years working in English local radio. Since moving to London in 1997, he has worked in various senior roles in the interactive and on-demand space for both public sector and commercial organisations. Andy recently completed a successful fifteen month secondment to BBC Worldwide’s Melbourne-based travel publisher, Lonely Planet. He lead a major overhaul of their digital business. Andy is currently leading the implementation of the BBC’s ‘Delivering Quality First’ programme for its online and mobile services. Andy is also a published author, and a keen football and cricket fan. He lives in London.

Be Kaler
Be Kaler has worked within digital recruitment for over 16 years. Two years ago she became co-founder of digital recruitment specialist Futureheads. Over the years, Be has helped many firms to staff up with the best digital talent – across agency, broadcast, finance, public, charity, news, entertainment – it’s an exercise in matching personalities and capabilities to specific project teams or corporate cultures. Be’s real passion is the user experience market and for the last 12 years has concentrated on nurturing talent: helping to champion and evolve the UX skillset by participating in the Usability Professional Association, consulting on universities syllabuses and most recently as a director of BIMA.

Ben Lunt
Ben leads the Leo Burnett Group’s creative & strategic technology offering. He has over 10 years experience of working in and around digital media. He has worked in a diverse set of roles, from art director to technical team lead, and across a range of different sectors and platforms, from online to broadcast, interactive TV to mobile and digital outdoor. Ben joined Leo Burnett from GT London, where he led a specialist team of designers and developers, producing award-winning rich media, cross-platform work for the likes of Audi, Adobe, Xbox, Canon, the BBC and the Financial Times. Prior to GT, he worked for the Government Information & Communication Service, the Walt Disney Company, and led creative R&D projects and campaign work for Pogo Technology Ltd, the British dotcom start-up behind the original iPhone.

Chris Hassell
Chris is Creative Director of Ralph. He started building websites at school instead of getting a proper job. He was employed by Jay Armitage in Leeds at the age of 18 and in 1999 the two founded digital agency 'DS.Emotion' which developed a few eCommerce sites for clients such as BT. Deciding IT wasn’t their thing, Chris moved to London in 2002. Jay and Chris stole the digital department in 2005 and this became Ralph. Now working with most major UK & US broadcasters and film studios and winning some awards here and there including a BAFTA and Emmy nomination, the team has gone from strength to strength with offices in London, LA and New York.

Chris Kempt
My name is Chris and I have spent too much time in front of a computer. In 1998, armed with a degree in Fine Art and a book on HTML, I arrived fashionably late for the dotcom boom and I’ve been in a deep love affair with digital ever since! I worked in a variety of roles around the industry before starting Kempt, one of the UKs leading experts in branded games, in 2003. Outside Kempt I’m on the board of both BIMA and TIGA, I chaired the ’09 awards committee and have been significantly involved in BIMA’s schools activity.

Christoph Burgdorfer
Christoph started his career in 2003 in Switzerland at MINICK, an internationally operating mobile technology specialist. He moved to London for MINICK in 2005 and was responsible for the creation of some of the most advanced mobile solutions at that time. These included interactive SMS and Multimedia Message services, payment systems, mobile-enabled web sites and mobile applications. In 2009, Christoph set up coANDco (UK) Ltd, a technology and innovation driven agency, which focuses on the development of converged mobile and online/social media solutions. Christoph holds a Master of Arts degree in Networked Media from the Ravensbourne College of Design and Communication/University of Sussex.

Clive Holdsworth
Originally from the creative design and publishing industries, Clive has spent the last 15 years creating websites, applications and digital services in private, public and third sectors in almost every industry and market. A keen evangelist for user-centred design, he has a passion for delivering products which are highly usable and accessible to all users. Clive is Head of Digital at the Equality and Human Rights Commission, the body which regulates digital accessibility. He is currently engaged in developing and launching the UK’s first ever online training and qualification in web accessibility with the support of BIMA.


David Brear
A technologist and master of all and jack of none having a deep range of experience and qualifications across a number of digital disciplines. Having started out in infrastructural engineering and web development David has moved through disciplines to the softer side of digital working both agency and client side in digital for a number of top brands including Aviva, RAC, Lloyds TSB, Halifax and Europe’s largest experience design specialist Foolproof. Since joining Lloyds Banking Group in 2009 he is now responsible for a number of transformational digital projects across the group’s brands continuing to bring his own unique level of eloquent nerdery to financial brands as well as publishing the occasional piece of research or articles when he finds time.

David Jenkinson
David Jenkinson is an award-winning journalist, content technologist and multiplatform publisher. Having held senior editorial positions at Haymarket, International Thomson, EMAP and Cahners’ Moving Pictures International, he created and co-founded C21Media in 1997, one of the world’s first internet publishing businesses. For more than a decade C21 has defined new content models, supported by a traditional publishing portfolio, while positioning itself at the heart of the digital revolution. C21Media.net now attracts more than 60,000 unique visitors each month and has consolidated a position as Home to The International Entertainment Community. Prior to launching C21Media Jenkinson was editor-in-chief of Moving Pictures International, running daily, weekly and monthly publications within the film business. He led EMAP’s TV World to win the prestigious PPA International Business Magazine of the Year award in 1993, and worked as part of the senior editorial management team at International Thomson. In 1997, alongside C21Media, he co-founded creative agency Dri Riser developing brand and creative strategy for a range of media and entertainment clients. He was a group editor at Haymarket from 1989-1991 having started his career at Reed Business Publishing. He moderates and speaks on television business, digital media and entertainment industry panels worldwide. After school he DJs and make music as hermosabeatscartel.

Diane Charlton
Diane has held senior management positions in marketing for over fifteen years. Following a career as an editor of IT consumer titles, Diane moved into contract publishing becoming Managing Director of TPD Contract Publishing. In 1996 she worked on the launch of one of the first new media agencies in the UK and became MD of Fusion Interactive. She holds an MBA and was a founding partner of Chemistry Communications and has been working in direct marketing with an emphasis on new media since 2000. Following the recent acquisition of Chemistry by Publicis, Diane is now MD of an enlarged agency.

Eleanor Stewart
Eleanor Stewart has worked in Communications for much of her career. Eleanor has extensive experience of both internal and external communications. At present Eleanor is Head of Digital Engagement for the UK within the recently created Government Digital Service in the Cabinet Office. Her responsibilities are; Embedding digital engagement and the use of social media in the day to day running of government, ensuring that digital media are included in the production, reporting and evaluation of government policy and initiatives, ensuring that digital communications are used as efficiently and effectively as possible, co-ordinating and managing the professional network for civil servants working on digital engagement and defining and promoting best practice and fostering innovation, defining security and propriety rules for civil servants working with and using social media, developing and promoting the use of web 2.0 and social media technology within the secure network of the civil service to improve knowledge sharing and efficiency. In addition in the past few years Eleanor has also been responsible for communicating and promoting the government open data and transparency agenda and as part of this has launched data.gov.uk, working with Sir Tim Berners-Lee, Professor Nigel Shadbolt and Andrew Stott, to facilitate the release and reuse of government data and co-ordinate the release of various government datasets, including senior salaries, organograms and government spending over £25k.

Gordon Young
Gordon Young is founder and editor of The Drum, the website and magazine that covers the creative media and marketing business. The Drum is also behind a series of events including the DADIs, The Chip Shop Awards, the Online Media Awards and the Social Buzz Awards. You can find out more about The Drum at www.thedrum.co.uk.

Guillaume Buat-Ménard
Guillaume Buat-Ménard has been working in the London interactive industry for over 14 years, he blends in-depth technical knowledge and experience with the ability to translate it into business lingo and advice. After a year at the French Space Centre Guillaume emigrated to the UK to start a career in Interactive Media. He first worked at Foresight and then as Technical Director at the award winning Deepend where he build a digital team and pushed for technical excellence. Guillaume then joined Proximity in 2001 as Technical Director for the next 5 years to help with its merger and re-build their digital offering. After a stint at Lemon Foundation Guillaume joined Aqueduct as Technical Director in 2007 to build its digital department and operations and helped win accounts such as Manchester City Football Club, Lloyd's of London and the British Red Cross.

Helen Milner
Helen has worked in the online industry since 1985, working in the 1980s/90s in the private sector delivering a groundbreaking schools online service in England and Australia, and since the late 90s in innovating services to help community partners deliver learning, usually for adults who missed out the first time round. Helen leads the team which coordinates the UK online centres partner network of 4000 community organisations working to help people to use the internet for the first time. In 2008 Helen was invited by Baroness Andrews to Chair the National Digital Inclusion and Social Housing Strategy Group as it became apparent that a significant number of people living in social housing were not able to use the internet. This role is ongoing. Helen’s priority for the next three years is to get 1 million more people online. The internet is an essential daily tool to 30m people in the UK – for communication, for work and for fun. But 9 million people have never been online, and are not able to do things that most of us take for granted. 13% of new jobs are only available online, internet users save £560 a year, and they are more connected to friends and family.

Helen Nowicka
Helen joined Porter Novelli earlier this year after a decade as a board director at The Red Consultancy where she helped the agency become a social media pioneer by founding its digital team Shiny Red in 2006. Helen’s experience spans consumer, b2b and corporate work in the finance, pharma, FMCG, retail and consumer tech sectors, and she’s delivered award-winning campaigns for digital brands including MSN, Expedia and McAfee, as well as picking up a Reputation Online award for best use of digital within a wider campaign for Molson Coors’ Cobra Beer. A member of both the CIPR and PRCA social media panels, Helen has been named as one of PR Week’s power players in social media and contributes to industry publications and the Porter Novelli blog, as well as speaking at industry conferences and tweeting @Helennow. Prior to PR she was a journalist covering news and features for papers including The Times, Guardian and Independent.

Ian Bates
Ian is passionate about ideas. Ideas that build businesses. As Board Director at Indicia he has been instrumental in the agency’s development from its direct marketing heritage to Customer Intelligence agency. As the relationship between brands and customers has become more dynamic he has spearheaded the integration of ideas across multi-platform campaigns, including social media. Enthusiastic and collaborative, he is Vice Chair of the DMA Agency Council, member of the DMA Awards Advisory Board, Bristol Creative Director Network. He is a regular judge at DMA Awards, CIMTG Travel Awards and a multi-award winner, including a Gold at 2010 BIMA Awards.

James Bruce
James is an award-winning creative director who has generated and overseen a number of interactive entertainment sites. Having worked both agency and client-side for companies such as BBC, Cadbury, Channel 4 and Warner Brothers, James consistently provides successful digital engagement and creative cross platform solutions demonstrating expertise in taking intricate design briefs and translating them into user-friendly, creative solutions. Currently he is Head of Creative, EMEA for Disney online leading a team of designers and user experience specialists across 23 markets ensuring all products and services meet the highest standards of Disney brand quality, usability and customer focus.

James Cashmore
James is responsible for developing communications and partner development strategies for Google’s advertising offerings to Film, Broadcast, Music, Gaming and Gambling companies. James leads the Entertainment Industry Team who is responsible for building successful client agency and advertising partnerships with Google and was previously the Head of Technology, Industry Market Groups for Google. Prior to joining Google in 2004 James worked for Technology Content publishing companies, VNU and Ziff Davis.

James Jefferson
Hello, I'm James; Creative Director and Co-founder of Equator. I'm frank; I've always worked hard and said what I think. Never had a job interview. Never had a real job. Never been professional. My career is simple - together with John and Garry, I have designed and built a proper integrated agency. One with a digital heart. We weren't born yesterday - our user-focused approach has generated billions in incremental business for our clients since 1999. We are full of youthful excitement - the digital revolution, we are lucky to be living and working in, inspires and drives all of us everyday. We call ourselves a digital-led integrated agency. Which means we are uniquely able to join-up the dots across all media. Today, we have a team of around 78 experts across two UK offices and an annual turnover of around £6m. We are still hungry. We are opening in London this year and New York next year.

Jane Burton
Jane is Head of Content and Creative Director for Tate Media, at Tate. She leads the production team responsible for Tate’s film productions, including documentaries about artists for TV and online, and the weekly video podcast TateShots; as well as steering interactive content collaborations between Tate and partners such as Google, Aardman Animations, the BBC and Channel 4. In 2002, she launched the world’s first wireless multimedia tours at Tate Modern, winning a Bafta for innovation, and in 2008 produced the UK’s first gallery tour for iPhones, while more recent work in the mobile space includes a range of apps that explore art through gaming.

Jane Savage
Jane is Head of Digital and eCommerce for Johnson & Johnson UKI where she works across the Consumer brand teams helping to raise the Digital IQ, determine the best digital strategy for each brand, oversee execution and develop the eCommerce offering with key retail partners. She is also a founding and core team member of the Johnson & Johnson EMEA Digital Council for which the UK is the lead market in digital for the region. Also at Johnson & Johnson, Jane was previously responsible for the highly successful global Smoking Cessation franchise digital programme for more than 2 years, being responsible within the NICORETTE® Franchise for digital strategy development, online communication materials, development and roll out of the Behavioural Support Programme (NICORETTE® ACTIVESTOP®). Jane has a deep knowledge of the rapidly developing digital environment from a wealth of experience having worked for more than eleven years in the field with Bertelsmann, Camelot and A.S. Watsons. Her experience in CRM, e-commerce, and digital campaigns significantly contribute to the overall effort to improve the online presence and accelerate the digital agenda at Johnson & Johnson. Jane has a MSc in Marketing, a CIM Postgraduate Diploma and BA Hons degree in Business Studies.

Jude Stone
Jude is Digital Media Manager for Parlophone Records with almost a decade of digital music experience behind her. Since joining EMI Jude has worked on a series of award winning campaigns (Drum, DMA’s Webby’s) for a diverse roster of artists including Tinie Tempah, Eliza Doolittle Danger Mouse, Chemical Brothers and Pet Shop Boys. Jude previously worked as UK Digital Manager for the Nettwerk Music Group and prior to that managed online PR campaigns for a number of labels and artist campaigns as Marketing Account Manager for Outside Line.

Kate Cox
Kate has clocked up 11 years' experience within the communications industry. Having graduated from Nottingham University with a degree in English and Philosophy, she began her career at Publicis. She cut her teeth managing Hewlett Packard's B2B activity, before moving to work on through-the-line consumer campaigns for the likes of Nestlé and United Biscuits. She then moved to Ogilvy & Mather where she was the account lead across a diverse spectrum of clients, ranging from Ford to GSK and Unilever. After a client-side secondment to American Express, Kate decided to merge her 360 brand skills with the cutting edge in digital, joining Quirk as Managing Partner, where she is enjoying the cut and thrust of delivering marketing solutions for brands that seek to engage with connected audiences.

Louise Brown
Louise Brown was appointed Head of Multi-Platform Commissioning for Channel 4 in January 2009. Reporting to Richard Davidson-Houston, Head of Online, Louise and team create innovative multi-platform projects, increasing the impact and engagement with Channel 4 content on digital platforms. Previous to this Louise was Head of Operations for Channel 4’s New Media department reporting to Jon Gisby, managing design, production, and project and community management teams. Before joining Channel 4, Louise was the Portal Manager of MSN.co.uk, leading local editorial and product planning teams for Microsoft’s UK content site. Originally recruited as Search Business Manager at MSN UK, Louise was also responsible for launching and managing Microsoft’s first local search engine outside of the US. Previously Louise worked within the Business Development team at Associated New Media (now Northcliffe Digital). Her career and interest in online media started, however, at Websters Multimedia publishers as the Content Manager for the first versions of Encarta Encyclopedia when in her spare time she also wrote some of the UK’s first website reviews for magazines such as Future’s .net directory.

Dr Magnus Moar
Dr Magnus Moar is a Senior Lecturer at Middlesex University, where he is a Programme Leader for MA Design for Interactive Arts and BA 3D Animation and Games. He has been involved in teaching and developing interactive media since the late '80s and has worked on projects for the National Maritime Museum, the BBC and the Open University, among others. His research is concerned with how New Media may be used in learning.

Mark Taylor
Mark Taylor joined Microsoft in 1993 and now leads the Developer and Platform Group in the UK, which is responsible for the technical audience marketing, developer tools sales and product marketing, new and emerging technologies and devices, relationships with key high-profile brands, independent software vendors, further education students and academics, start-ups, venture capitalists and consumer technology enthusiasts. A former developer and self-confessed gadget junkie, Mark is passionate about the role of technology and software in enabling the future.

Matthew Bagwell
Matthew Bagwell is the Global Creative Director at EMC Consulting (formally Conchango in the UK). As such, Matthew leads the consultancies' Global Strategy, Planning and Design capabilities, working with clients to help them to create and deliver the appropriate and delightful digital experiences across channels, platforms and devices. His work spans key industry verticals, their strategies and technologies, engaging with some of the world's leading brands. Prior to his role at EMC, Matthew was the European Creative Director at digital agency, Syzygy and Senior Creative at Imagination ltd. Matthew is also a Digital Advisor to the Greenwich Council and founder of The Fantastic Tavern ( a 1000+ digital community that shares beers and ideas). Michael McClary
Michael McClary is a business development manager for Digital Solutions at Microsoft. He joined Microsoft back in 2006 and specialises these days in using a combination of direct business development, relationship building, influence and marketing to drive digital solutions with major UK brands. He's always on the look out for original thought and surprising uses of new technology.


Mike Hawkyard
Mike Hawkyard is the Strategy Director of 4T2 Multimedia and the Chairman of TIGA.org’s Casual Game Group. He has been helping global brands successfully promote their products and services via online games for over twelve years. His current tasks include designing unique and improbable ways heroic robots can defeat evil villains for The LEGO Company. Mike advises that this never gets boring.

Mike Teasdale
Mike Teasdale is founder and planning director of Harvest Digital, an independent digital marketing agency. He started his career as a copywriter, but a poor record of hitting deadlines means that these days his writing skills are rarely deployed in anger. Harvest Digital does 'joined up digital thinking' for clients like Tesco, Experian, LV=, Sage and Stannah, so Mike's day job is thinking about how different channels interact and how content and messaging work across the customer journey. His blog is not entirely ironically called indolent.com; he tweets from @miketeasdale.

Neil Gibbons
Neil Gibbons is the editor of Communicate magazine, the leading monthly title on corporate communications and stakeholder relations. A frequent commentator on communications issues, Neil has edited Communicate since it launched in November 2008 and has previously written for titles such as The Guardian, IR magazine and Leisure Week.

Olly Willans
Olly is the Founder and Creative Director at Torchbox, now well into its second decade. He and his team create award winning sites and campaigns for some of the most 'digital' organisations in the development, health and education sectors including WWF, Greenpeace, the Kings Fund, and Oxford University. Ten years down the line, Olly is still just as excited about the Internet's potential as a force for social good.

Paul Kemp-Robertson
Paul Kemp-Robertson was one of the original team responsible for industry creative showcase shots in 1990, where he became editor in 1994. Subscriptions trebled under his tenure. He’s also seen the agency side of life, succeeding Donald Gunn in 1998 as Leo Burnett’s worldwide director of creative resources in Chicago. Paul left Leo Burnett in March 2004 to found Contagious – a quarterly magazine and dvd reporting on future trends and non-invasive marketing techniques, which sees Paul reunited with shots founder Gee Thomson. Paul has also written numerous articles for publications including Business 2.0, The Guardian, Hollywood Reporter and M&M Europe, as well as co-editing D&AD’s The Commercials Book. www.contagiousmagazine.com


Richard Lomax
Richard Lomax is a director of content marketing agency Redhouse Lane, whose global client base includes Anglo American, Exxon Mobil, Rolls-Royce and the Department of Health. An award-winning writer and content strategist, Richard is currently working with the European Investment Bank in Luxembourg and launching a pioneering new website on climate change and the UK’s energy challenges for a leading brand.

Ross Laurie
Ross Laurie brings over 15 years experience at the forefront in the digital strategy market, from helping connect start-up businesses with investors in the dot-com boom with First Tuesday Scotland in the late 90’s, launching blackcircles.com in 2000, to his current position as MD of Line Digital, Scotland’s leading digital agency, where he has creating award winning solutions for high profile businesses, such as Standard Life, The Fringe and Wyndham Hotel Group International. Ross is also an ambassador and mentor of Micro-Tyco, a new social charity which encourages youngsters to raise money while matching them up with Businesses.

Sam Gibbs
Sam Gibbs, Technical Planner at Fortune Cookie spends his days being creative with technology, designing cutting edge experiences across a range of screens and platforms. Sam's been part of the Agency world for 7 years, initially at Digital Agency, Lightmaker. With a passion for pushing technology to its limits he's produced award winning work for a handful of the world's largest brands. With a strong focus on multiscreen, Sam looks to replicate this success on the new and emerging platforms of today and tomorrow.

Sarah Morris
Sarah has been at LBi London for over 6 years and heads up the 40-person user experience team. She currently works across multiple accounts, including Lloyds Banking Group, Virgin Atlantic and BT. Before joining LBi, Sarah ran her own company for 3 years, specialising in the effective translation of research insights into user experience. Her career started at IDEO product development as an interaction design consultant, and her education in visual communication and previous experience as a designer, means she understands how to execute on brand and the importance of information design. Sarah has a BA (Hons) in Visual Communication Design from Ravensbourne College and a Masters in Design Interactions from the Royal College of Art, London.

Shane O'Byrne
Social Media Director at MEC for 14 months working across our Client portfolio which includes Visa, LBG, Specsavers, Energizer Wilkinson Sword, United Biscuits, Sony Ericsson, Orange and Colgate. Passionate about Digital and Interactive work. Was founder and owner of specialist branded content and social agency the DBMgroup for 6 years before MEC. Helped Consult, strategise, create , develop and deliver numerous Interactive campaigns for Brands over the last 10 years.

Thomas Moeller
Thomas Moeller is a Creative Director at SapientNitro London with over 14 years experience across US, UK, European and other international markets - a passionate hands-on designer and leader of creative teams - looking to find new & interesting ways to solve communication challenges. Tiffany St James
Tiffany is one of the UK’s leading social media strategists, trainers and international speakers. She aligns corporate objectives, people skills and evolving technology to embed practical digital strategy for impactful change and growth. Her clients include The Guardian, Channel4 and Microsoft. Tiffany helped to launch the social media laboratory for Euro RSCG London, she is the Former Head of Public Participation (social media) for the UK Government, the strategic lead on social media training, tools, capability and guidance. She launched data.gov.uk, working with Sir Tim Berners-Lee, the creator of the Web, and was the first Director of Communications for Directgov.

Tom Reding
Tom recently joined BBC Worldwide, the commercial arm of the BBC, as Head of Digital Content for the company’s Digital Entertainment and Games division. Formed in 2010, the division is responsible for developing new opportunities across a wide range of gaming platforms. Tom joined the team from the BBC where he was Editor for the broadcaster’s games output and oversaw the development of the ‘Games Grid’ digital platform. Winner of 10 international awards and a passionate advocate of the UK games industry, his experience spans both production & publishing. When not playing games, he can be found attached to a snowboard or mountain bike.
